Jordan Driggers might be from San Antonio, Texas but is from a family with deep Southern roots. With a dad and mom both from Birmingham, AL, Jordan has always had a love for the South despite being from Texas. After graduating from Churchill High School in 2009 Jordan saw it as his opportunity to experience the true South.
Although his parents were from Alabama both families picked up, moved to Texas, and the two met while attending Texas State University in San Marcos. Jordan had his eyes set on schools in the Southeastern Conference. The University of Mississippi and University of Alabama were two schools that always interested Jordan. He had visited both campuses many times but ultimately decided on University of Mississippi.
“The University of Mississippi was my ultimate decision because I had a couple of good friends attending the University as well.”
Now Jordan is a Junior at Ole Miss pursuing a degree in Journalism.
“Coming to Ole Miss was one of the best opportunities in my life. I’ve loved every minute of being here.”
Jordan's ultimate goal after attending Ole Miss is to gain employment contributing for a Music magazine such as The Fader, Rolling Stone, or Vibe.
“Music is my greatest love and would be so grateful to have any opportunity to discuss my thoughts and opinions on it.”
